Collecting rain with drones, while also cleaning the water through a simple and inexpensive filtration system. The drones only need to lift and unfold the tarpaulin over the roof or any other surface.
The tarpaulin can also be placed over four posts at the corners of the roof. A pipe drains the water into a container attached to the building, and a filtration system then cleans the water.
When the rain is over, drones return and remove the tarpaulin, taking it to a storage facility where the drones also recharge.
With markers, sensors and a digital map, the drones can operate autonomously. Training the system using machine learning would also allow an engineer to fine-tune every detail and technical specification.
