On the last method of transport.

Teleportation will be the last method of transport on this Earth.

When and if we find a way to teleport, our need for transport on Earth will be completely fulfilled. Would we need another form of high-tech transport if teleportation were invented? No, because there is no better alternative. Teleportation is the best there is.

It will be a long time before we have this kind of transport. But we are allowed to speculate or dream, whatever you want to call this possibility.

Some research in this field has begun, but it has not reached the point where we can use it to transport an object of any meaningful size. Search online for developments in teleportation and you will find some research and development.

Why do I think this is the last method of transport on Earth? Because its capabilities could solve the problems and challenges we have had with transport, such as traffic jams and vehicle collisions, which cause considerable concern in the transport industry today and in the future. Once fully developed, it might be possible to transport or teleport people over great distances. Imagine teleporting yourself to another planet.

What could we use teleportation for?

There could be teleportation for food and online shopping.

In our homes, takeaway food could arrive at a small teleportation station. When you order something from an online shop, the package could arrive immediately after you click the buy-now button. You could also have a station for transporting yourself, your family and your friends.

Where and what will change?

Everything: the way we visit people and go to work, and perhaps how we visit other planets or the International Space Station. By then, perhaps that station will be fully developed and the size of a large city, with several such stations scattered through space.

Cars, planes and boats would no longer be necessary. Perhaps we would need electric bicycles because we need to move our legs.

Delivery companies would face a historic turning point if teleportation were invented. They would no longer need as many employees. All their logistics would be run by robots and teleportation stations.

Everything would suddenly become much closer. You could get from A to B in a second, crossing enough distance to travel anywhere.

All this and other effects would change the course of our history because of the last transport method we call teleportation.

Whether this method can be invented is a question for researchers. I am only speculating.
